Advice for Injured Victims of T-Bone Accidents

Joseph A. Nagy, accident lawyer Edmonton, had dealt with many t-bone accident injuries.

I am Joseph A. Nagy, and I am an experienced Edmonton injury lawyer serving central and northern Alberta. I have dealt with many t-bone accident cases.

The Contributory Negligence Act states that “fault” and “degrees of fault” are questions of fact. This is why you should speak with me, Joseph A. Nagy, and inform me of the specific facts of your t-bone accident case. There are many fact specific judicial rulings on how much compensation should be reduced for failing to wear a seat belt. Each circumstance is fact specific.

Call (780) 760-4878 or contact me, Joseph A. Nagy, to discuss the steps I can recommend to for your t-bone accident case. Free consultation. Free parking.

About T-Bone Accidents

A T-Bone accident describes an accident where two vehicles collide at right angles. Usually, the at-fault driver fails to stop and a stop sign or a red light and enters a highway or intersection and causes a collision with another vehicle. T-Bone accidents also commonly happen at uncontrolled intersections. High speed impacts often cause serious injury and/or death.

If you have been involved in a T-Bone accident like the one shown here, call Joseph A. Nagy, accident lawyer Edmonton.

Orthopedic injury, spinal cord injury, and head injury such as a traumatic brain injury are common in high speed T-Bone collisions. Wearing a seat belt in a high speed T-Bone accident can sometimes cause a severe spinal cord injury, whereas not wearing one can sometimes cause a less severe injury. Commonly, the insurer of the person who caused the accident will argue that your compensation should be reduced under the Contributory Negligence Act because you were not wearing your seat belt. This argument is based on a very simplistic view of the legislation.
